One of the clearest patterns across observed dataset transactions:

Pricing dispersion is extreme.

Across DatFlash transaction references:

• Similar data modalities show vastly different prices
• Dataset size alone does not determine value
• Rights, scope, exclusivity, and substitutability dominate pricing

Observed examples include:

• Narrow datasets priced under $10k
• Specialized commercial datasets in the $50k–$250k range
• High-value financial and strategic datasets exceeding $1M

Dataset markets do not behave like commodity markets.

Price ≠ volume.

Price reflects rights, risk, and replacement difficulty.
